Is it true that if you dont brush your hair for a while, it starts falling more?

No, it only appears to look like you are loosing more hair. The 'normal' human will lose 100 hairs a day, if you have short hair you usually never notice, if you have long hair you can tell. If you don't brush your hair for a few days and then brush it, it appears you lost a lot of hair, since it is getting rid of all of the dead hair from those few days in which you didn't brush. Don't worry about it, unless you start developing a thin/bald spot.

no

it will only really start falling out once you brush it again since you haven't been brushing it to get the dead hair out.

No

Is it true that if you dont brush your hair for a while, it starts falling more?

My guess would be yes ...but not because you didn't brush it but because if you don't brush your hair it is going to get "matted"..and that is like a huge tangle that is close to impossible to comb or brush out ....It can be gotten out ...cutting or by carefully brushing and combing. THATS where you lose your hair....because matted hair is hard to comb out and your going to lose a lot of it ...so what ever you do....brush your hair ..or try to every day...more ...if you like to look nice...**smile**

Is it true that if you dont brush your hair for a while, it starts falling more?

we supposed to lose about 70-100 pieces of hair daily naturally..so make sense if you don't brush for a while there will be a lot more loose hair falling out

Is it true that if you dont brush your hair for a while, it starts falling more?

It's true, but not for the reason you may think. It will fall out more when you start brushing again because the hair strands that were on the verge of falling out didn't, so because of a lack of brushing there was an accumulated surplus of weak and ready to fall hair strands that fall later. So the delay of some strands falling along with the normal ones falling gives the impression of a greater hairloss after a period of no brushing.

What I know is that if you spend some time without brushing your hair, it breaks a lot when you finally do.

Is it true that if you dont brush your hair for a while, it starts falling more?

no it just seems that way because you were not removing the hair that fell on a regular basis so when you finally brush it all the hairs that came out on all those days you went dred head are coming out at once and seem like an incredible amount
