I would like hair help...?

I am medium-brown hair, shoulder length and kinda dry. I would like it to be smooth, shiny, and easy to put up in a new do; tired of the straight up in a barrett or down and windy; I would like some curl with a little bit of volume; any ideas? I have a wavy iron, but doesnt give me the curl that I want. I also have curlers, but ends up too crinky and crimped up (like a tiny curl doodle) and when I end up brushing or combing it down - they end up flat and stringy. I have gel, hairspray, mousse; shampoo is Pantene Pro-V Smooth%26amp;Sleek or Finesse (same with conditioner), and a milk smoother for damp towl-dryed hair. When it dries, how do I keep it the smooth and shiny look, while trying to obtain a little wave? I have a hairdryer, and I rinse with cool water.

First of all good for you to rinse with cold water cause that makes your hair extremely shiny! Also if you want mores shine there is this new product from john Freida called glaze, and they work really well. If you want your hair curly buy a curling iron (with a really thin metal part) and those will make natural looking curls.

Try putting oil in your hair and wash it out after an hour or so.Use it once a week it will take away the dryness.For shine try a few drops of biosilk on dry hairUse hot rollers then brush your hair out so its not very curly and then use biosilk so your hair are managable and shiny and a nice wave too.
