My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I

I brush my Irish Soft coated Wheaten Terrier daily, and she looks great, but at the roots there are minute lumps of hair which never seem to disappear. What can I do about this. She also has a very sensitive stomach. Vomiting, diahorrea very frequently. She has the best food and have tried various options. Is this a typical characteristic of wheatens.

My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I do?

Ask your vet about the stomach problems. Take her in for a grooming. You aren't brushing thoroughly. It sounds like you are only brushing the top of the coat, not getting to the skin. Make sure you get her groomed regularly. In between grooms, you should brush her and then go over her with a fine tooth comb.

Go to your groomers and get a spray in water based conditioner and keep up your daily grooming. Hopefully this will help keep the knotting under control, not to mention keep the coat lush.

My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I do?

well you can get her shaved if it becomes 2 much work for you hat would be best but you ca also clip them out because my puppy had those and it hurt he bad

My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I do?

i recommend u take her to ur local vet they will find out wats rong with her.

My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I do?

she's developing mats. are you using a slicker brush? if not, get one. when you brush you are probably not getting all the way down to the skin. if she's 9 mos. old, she should have been to a groomer already. take her in and get her into a wheaten trim. wheaton face and head too. they will get all those mats out and it will be easier for you to take care of. hopefully she isn't matted more than what you realize. if that's the case, they may have to cut it pretty short, and you'll have to start over. i don't know why she's been getting sick. my friend has one and she is a very picky eater. she feeds nature's variety. it's expensive, but good for her. she sometimes get's dirrhea for no reason. she has linked it to when she is very nervous. and she is a very nervous dog.

My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I do?

If she's got lumps of hair at the roots, you're not brushing her thoroughly. You need to use a pin brush, have her lying on her side and make sure you're brushing through to the skin. If she's matted at the skin all over, it's going to be too hard on her to de-mat her (do you even have a slicker which is used for mats?), so I'd get her shaved (much as I hate shaving a dog), and start again. This time when you groom her, make sure you get down to the skin. Perhaps her breeder could show you the technique.

As for her sensitive stomach, sounds like she's allergic to something in her food and it needs to be changed. You might want to talk to your vet about a recommendation or change foods to something with no corn, wheat or beef which are the most common ingredients dogs are sensitive to.

My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I do?

Your problem is that you're using a BRUSH!!!

Use a fine-tooth steel COMB!

That's undercoat your seeing %26amp; it needs to be REMOVED w/the COMB!

Btw....it's MATS,not"dreadlocks". Now you won't sound so amateurish/novice.

Do ***NOT*** keep switching feeds! You're CAUSING the problem, not solving it!!

Any decent brand of DRY *ADULT* feed is FINE!

My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I do?

i had a soft coated wheaton terrier for 13 years. what sweet dogs!

we brushed fergus every day but sometimes there were still mats. we didn't keep him groomed to akc standards, so getting rid of the mats was easy. every few months we'd get him shaved down to stubble. he'd look silly for a week, but the hair grew back mat free (and just as soft and loveable).

he threw up all the time too. i think it was caused by his nerves. he was a sensitive boy. loud noises or stress in general usually caused him to hack up a delight - despite the best dog food and health regimine. i think it might be a fault through irresponsible breeding.

My 10 month old wheaten is developing dreadlocks despite the fact that I brush her daily. What can I do?

First, stop using a brush, and start using a comb. You are missing the whole undercoat when you just brush. That is why shr is getting matted.

Second, what type of food are you feeding her? Even though you say it is "the best quality" you may have been misguided. Vomiting and diarrhea frequently are not typical characteristic of ANY breed!

Biracial hair!!?

i am biracial black and white and my hair is frizzy and tangled any tips like hairstyles, products, combs, brushes?? anything HELP!!!

Biracial hair!!?

Homegirl--the hot comb is your friend!! lol, From one mixed girl to another, the easiest thing for me to do is get a wide-toothed comb and comb my hair out when I get out the shower and my hair's still wet. Then I blowdry it out and straighten it with either a hot comb or a flat iron (a metal one, not the ones that plug into the wall unless it works on your hair).

I'm mixed with Native, too, so my hair reeeeally holds soap and is curly, so I dunno if your hair texture is similar to mine or not. I also use Suave shampoo and a sheer spritz. And no heavy gels or anything like that.

Dunno if that helped, but e-mail me if I can help ya! :)

Biracial hair!!?

Garnier Fructis hair shampoo and conditioner..... pony-tail or high bun (messy)

Biracial hair!!?

Well try stay away from brushes and stick to combs if your hair is curly, it can make it too frizzy!

I use a heat protectant cream (wella) that has a bit of a hold on my hair, and it keeps my curls in control! It is in a red tin thing, but there are loads of brands you should try.

Also try leave in conditioner.

I think the best hairstyle is a ponytail, something like this:

It looks pretty if you grow your hair really long, and leave two strands in the front out and straighten them!

I need help!! bad hair day!!?

This depends entirely on your type of hair. Your best bet would be to go somewhere like a Hair Cuttery or other reputable hair salon and ask them to tell you what haircare products and techniques would be best for your type of hair. It could be that you need a hairstyle that will "fit" your type of hair. Course wavy hair needs different styles and products than fine straight hair.

If you can't do that, then wash your hair with a gentle shampoo, then use a conditioner that stays in several minutes before rinsing. Squeeze sections of your hair dry with a towel rather than rubbing it really hard (which tangles it.) Use a very wide toothed comb to gently comb your hair out, starting at the bottom and working your way up. If you get a tangle, try separating it first with your fingers, then the comb.

Once your hair has dried completely, if it still needs more softening and management, try diluting a little of the conditioner in a spray bottle filled with water (about a tablespoon to a pint of water - shake it up) and spray a bit of the conditioner on your hair before brushing it through with a hairbrush. You can also use this on your hair if the problem is that it's a total mess in the morning after you've slept on it.

I need help!! bad hair day!!?

buy hair moisterizuer. the ones that looks like lotion.

it will take out the frizz and make it way easier to come your hair.

Please help w/ my hair?

My hair, is greasy on the top and dry on the bottom.

it's also fine hair so it gets tangled easily and does not stay shiny and smooth after brushing it.

i need help on giving it a shiny look (without causing grease) and to make it keep the shiny and smooth look after brushingg it.

Home remedies would be nice or if not storebought products are fine also.

Please help w/ my hair?

shampoo the scalp/head area and rinse well with warm water. towel dry and condition only the ends.

blowdrying it will make it less tangly as long as it's blown dried with the way it grows (air going down not up or sideways).

remember that split ends cause split ends so get them trimmed off.

Please help w/ my hair?

wash it! and blow it dry with a round brush

Please help w/ my hair?

i use shea butter formula u should try it

Please help w/ my hair?

it sounds like you need a trim.

since you have fine hair you should use a light conditioner to avoid it feeling greasy.

for styling you should apply a small amount of shine serum to wet hair and then blow dry with a round brush

(shine miracle polishing serum by citre shine is only 5 dollars and will protect your hair from the heat of the blow dryer too)

Whats a cute hair style to do without using hairbands, for medium lenghth hair?

I need a cute hairstyle fast! I dont have any hairbands, but i do have water, and a brush!

Whats a cute hair style to do without using hairbands, for medium lenghth hair?

ribbon works too. but anyway sweep all your hair to one side and do a side pony tail it looks really cute with anything you wear. preppy ithink.

Whats a cute hair style to do without using hairbands, for medium lenghth hair?

Take water and soak your hair. then scrunch it with your hands, flip it upside down and ruffle it around . Dont brush it!! this will hopefully create a messy disheveled sexy look! =)

Hope this helps!

Whats a cute hair style to do without using hairbands, for medium lenghth hair?

well if you only have water and a brush maybe u can like scrunch ur hair with the water and make it look at like beachy and messy then use the brush on the front half of your hair to smooth the front out

Whats a cute hair style to do without using hairbands, for medium lenghth hair?

Well I have curly hair and I mostly just tie it back and put a bandana around the middle.

But seeing as you didn't say you had a bandana or anything else for that matter i'll give you a diff one.

Wash your hair really quickly.

Shampoo.

Conditioner.

DON'T WASH OUT THE CONDITIONER.

And just let it air dry.

I'll make your hair super soft.

And not frizzy or anything.

How to wear my hair...?

I have light brown hair, and it's long and wavy. If i let it just dry after a shower it gets frizzy, so i have to brush it. Besides low ponytail and pigtail variations, what are some styles I can try on my hair???

How to wear my hair...?

If you dont want your hair to be frizzy just add a very little gel and leave it loose long curly hair should not be imprisned it should be left to blow in the wind,...it locks on the opposite sex ...me for example i love hair with locks thats free hope this helps you in deciding what to do..ok

How to wear my hair...?

MY NATURAL HAIR GETS LIKE THAT SO I PUT IN EXTENSIONS BUT TRY HAVING YOUR STYLIST LAYERING YOUR HAIR IN A CUTE STYLE AND THAT MIGHT MINIMIZE THE FRIZZING.

How to wear my hair...?

Buy a hair straitner and straiten your hair!!! Wear it down and you will look FAB-U-LOUS!! I know what you mean when you say your hair gets frizzy!! I still need to find a solution for that!!!

How to wear my hair...?

use a friz serum so it doesnt get frizzy and you dont have to brush it try touching up your waves with a curling iron and wearing it down or go for a change or straighten it

How to wear my hair...?

umm, you can put it in an elegant bun (there are many types), you can french braid it, you can put it in a half pony tail, you can do a side pony tail. What I found out that really helps with frizziness is that you can towel dry your hair really well after taking a shower, and then you blow dry it. Just before it is completely dry, you comb in a very small amount of mousse and finish blow drying it. (make sure you brush/comb the mousse really well, because if you don't, your hair gets crusty). Then you can comb it and style it however you want. The process takes about 30 minutes, and it works pretty well.

How to wear my hair...?

try scrunchin it....or straightnin it

Perfect Teenage Guys Hair?

well hair is a difficult thing...

first you need to determine the shape of your face.

here are the basic shapes for face and the basic guidelines.

ROUND - try to lengthen the face, add height on the head of your crown, and keep your hair short on the sides.

OVAL - the perfect face shape, just about anything goes.

SQUARE - try to avoid accentuating your head and the fullness of it. avoid flattops.

anyways heres my list of perfect guys hair:

faux-hawk, ceasar cut, spikes, crew cuts, pig shave, etc

here are some photos

Will my daughters hair fall out??

My baby is six months old. She has a lot of hair and it is very wavy. Her hair covers her eyes and always looks very messy no matter how much i brush it. I started putting it up on top (like a pebbles look). She looks soooo adorable. i am worried though that it may fall out due to putting it up. Does anyone know if it will fall out or if it is okay?

Will my daughters hair fall out??

oh i love the pebbles look you can keep it up it wont fall out she must look adorable!!!

Will my daughters hair fall out??

its not going to fall out because you pull it up- go ahead and love the pebbles look

Will my daughters hair fall out??

Will my daughters hair fall out??

Pulling your daughters hair up will not cause it to fall out. I'm sure she is adorable!

Will my daughters hair fall out??

Don't use rubber bands...use baby clip barrettes.

Will my daughters hair fall out??

as long as you dont pull it too tight

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

I swear I have done EVERYTHING to get rid of lice in my 8 year old daughters hair. We have cut it shoulder length. I've tried all over the counter lice shampoos, combed out nits with the special comb, mayonaise, washed bedding, locked up stuff animals, bought new hair brushes, sprayed furniture and car with over the counter lice spray and her hair is clean from eggs/nits for like 2 weeks and then she gets them right back. What else can I do but shave her hair off?

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

I had this problem with my daughter too. It's a very long process, but I promise, if you follow it, you'll be rid of them.

Get the lice spray (made by RID, if I remember correctly) and spray her mattress. Then put one of those hypoallergetic mattress covers on it. It basically zips around the mattress. I got it at Wal-Mart. Next, get her a new pillow, spray that as well, then put it in a pillow protector. It's much like the mattress cover. Just make her bed as normal then after washing everything very well. Use the spray on your couch or any chairs she sits in as well as carpet in her room.

Wash her hair with the lice shampoo. Use the lice comb. THEN, shine a bright light on her head (directly next to a lamp or similar) and pick out every nit that you see. They're hard to remove, but use your nails. Pick each one you see out. You need the light so they "shine". My daughter had blonde hair, so this was a chore. I did this everyday (no lice shampoo for the following 2 days) and then took her to have her head "inspected". She couldn't return to school unless they were gone. She had 2 left. I washed her hair with the lice shampoo again and put her under the lamp to pick out any new lice or nits. I returned the next day and she was clear. She hasn't had them since.

Now, to prevent it again, keep the mattress cover on. Also, the added pillow protection. Don't let her hang her coat next to other coats at school. Mine put her coat in her backpack. They're positive that's how the lice transferred to my daughter....the hood of the coats touching.

I'm sure you'll think of this as a hassle and others will think I'm nuts. However, it's the ONLY thing that worked for us. The key is removing the nits. The combs just don't get them all and until the nits are gone, they'll keep hatching into lice to lay more nits.

Good luck!!

P.S. Don't cut her hair. You'll only regret it.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

My sister had that problem with her daughter. It seemed like every time she turned around, they were back. She started using a teatree oil shampoo that they bought at a bulk food store and she has only had them once since.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

There is a shampoo for that. ask your pharmacist i don't recall the name. also all bed clothes need to washed.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

I think you need to tell her school, there is probably someone in her class that keeps reinfesting her, as long as she is in the company of someone with head lice she will keep getting them. You are doing the right things, tie up her hair for school, tell her to keep her head away from other kids, talk to other mums and ask if their kids are being infested, but be careful some people won't want to admit to it. Also you could buy a lice repelling spray, use it when she is mixing with kids, it may help stop them from returning.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

use hair dye at least 2 times in to weeks and use comb to remove the eggs the dye kills then very fast then the shampoo

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

There is nothing you can do to keep her from getting it permantly. When she gets lice you treat it but there is no guarantee she won't get it again. If she keeps getting it I would guess that one of her friends has lice and isn't being treated for it. It's probably someone your daughter is close with and spends a lot of time with. Invite some of your daughters closest friends over to your house and check them for lice. If they have it notify their parents.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

Have you considered the fact that your house is not the only source of head lice. You can kill 'em all that get on her, then if she has a friend that has them, or someone at school, she will get them again.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

contact the school they need to check every student and get the word out to every parent to do wht your doing

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

you wash your hair and don't use the same comb, throw out anyting like pillow cases and thing like that

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

My niece had the same problem. They checked and did everything they could think of. Then they finally found the source. A friend of hers had it real bad but you couldn't see it so nobody knew. They cleared her friends lice and my niece has been lice free for 2 years now. Also to prevent future infestations after the lice is gone, mix some lice shampoo into her normal shampoo so that if there is a chance she gets one, it will kill it before it gets to lay eggs. Good Luck.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

This a sure fired way to get rid of the things. On the week ends coat her head with vegetable oil. All the way down to the scalp. Don't wash the head, until Sunday night. Those little pest can not breath from the oil covering them. This makes the child's head look like something from the 1930's, but it worked for my children.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

I took 2 days off of work and cleaned my house top to bottom with bleach and water. Shampoo your carpets, mattresses, couches and chairs. You wont like it but your house will never have been cleaner. Bag up or throw away all stuffed animals and toys for 3 months. Wash all clothes in hot water and dry on high heat weather you think they need it or not. Dont allow other regular visitors to your home for at least a week. Treat everyones hair as directed. Dont forget your car lice lives there too. Make phone calls to anyone who has been exposed to infected persons. It may be embarassing but it will definately help. It is not a sin to have it. It is a sin to not do anything about it. Vaccume and rewash bedding every day. Lysol is exactly the same thing as lice spray, but its cheaper

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

Try replacing her pillow and mattress they can become infected and the only way to get rid of them is burning them. Also, try seeing if any of the friends she is playing with at school have the problem or see if she is borrowing someone else's hat or brush at school. You also need to wash your bedding and all the clothes that you come in contact with they can be infected as well. And don't just lock up the stuffed animals, throw them away.....

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

I have hard there is this stuff called pixie spray, some hair salons have it. I can get it for 8 a bottle and that has done the trick for us!

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

WASH EVERYTHING toys, cloths, bookbag, beading, pillow, hair brushes, and ask doc or pharmacist for the products

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

Lice r immune to OTC shampoos.

Need a script for LINDANE lice shampoo.

Wet hair with vinegar and water then lather with Lindane.

Product called RID to spray her room.

Wash ALL in hot water, spray, vacuum.

Use steel lice comb and cut hair shorter if you must.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

I heard that washing your hair with tea tree oil shampoo works.(Paul Mitchell makes some)

Have your daughter take a shower and change her clothes as soon as she gets home from school. Wash and condition her hair with the shampoo. While the conditioner is in her hair, brush it. Then rinse the hiar really well. Every morning spray bedding with the lice spray

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

First, prevention is key...but I'll get to that in a minute. My daughter first got lice when she was 23months old and I couldn't use the lice shampoo on her becuz she was too young. I coated her hair with vaseline and wrapped it with saran wrap for 12hours washed it out and began taking out all of the nits by hand. I don't care what anyone says...those nit combs don't take the nits out all they do is seperate the hair so that you can see them . U need to pull them out with your fingers. The reason why ur daughter keeps getting them back is because of a couple of reasons...#1 your not getting all the nits. I know you feel that you are but don't forget that you have to check everyday...twice and day is better. Nits grow bigger everyday, so if you looked thro her hair today u won't see them but the next day u will. (also seperate the hair in about 6-8 sections and give your daughter a break after completing 2 sections. This will also give your eyes a break and make it easier to check. 2. check yourself as well, you could have it and not know it. 3. make sure that your daughter puts her coat and hat in her backpack. Lice love to party on coats, scarfs and hats. (Also, put a few drops of tea tree only on your fabric softner and put in the dryer when washing her clothes they hate the smell).

BUT...what works the best is....Denorex Extra Strengh. It is a dandroff shampoo with coal tar oil in it and lice hate it (Back in the day they use pure coal tar oil and keronse to get rid of lice). I used it as a treatment and now preventation since my daughter got in again when she was in jk. All you do is wet your daughters hair...put the shampoo on and let it sit for 10mins. It will tingle. Rinse really well...if she has any adults living in her hair you will see them fall out dead. Then get a cermanic straighter and flat iron your daughter's hairs. Not only does this make your daughters hair extra smooth, it burns the buggers and easier to see the remaining nits. Denorex is pretty strong so if your daughter has sensitive skin it might give a chemical burn if shampoo is left on too long.

I guarantee that if you do all this...they will be gone!!!

As for prevention...Lice love clean hair....I only wash my daughters hair once every 2 weeks...but since she is in swimming...I now do it once a week and use the denorex when I do.

When she is at school, NEVER let her wear her hair down. Always pin it up and hairspray it to death and then get some gel and top of that And then put a couple drops of tea tre oil and smooth on top of the head, around ears and nap of neck (it smells but do u really want to continue living like this and taking up all the free time that you have to nit pick??).

Hope this is helpful!

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

I know that stuff can make you nuts. I have four kids and I ran an in home daycare. Let me tell you what I did when dealing with this stuff. First off store brands of the shampoos don't seem to work as well as RID does. I know that sounds funny but, I believe it. I wash everything in HOT water not cold. I spray the beds (mattresses too), carpets, furniture, everything. Be sure to vacuum and after vacuuming everything change your bag - place in plastic bag and immediately put in outside trash. Replacing the brushes is a good idea but, if she was hairbands and bows you need to replace or boil them. After you wash her hair with the shampoo don't wash her hair with regular shampoo or use conditioner. Blow dry her hair and get a bright lite to be sure you are getting all the nits out. Don't let her wash her hair with regular shampoo or conditioner for 5 days. Make sure you look through her head every day to be sure you got all the nits out. My daughter had long hair too and we did cut it just because it was making me crazy dealing with it. But, when she goes to school she has hair up and in a pony tail and we spray hairspray on it. I know that sounds funny but, she has not had anymore since doing this. If this does not help maybe there is someone on the bus, or in her class that has it and the schoold does not know. I know some feel embarrassed if their kids have lice but, call the school and let them know your child has had lice and you are battling with getting rid of it. My daughter was sitting with the same little girl and kept getting it found out the little girl had it too. This way they can check the other kids in her class or bus. Also, let her know that she should not use anyone else's hair brush or bows because she probably hates going through it as much as you do. GOOD LUCK

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

Be careful with the poisonous lice shampoo, it made my friends daughter very sick because she used it too many times in a small amount of time. I also read a site on the Internet that warned about it.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

All of those things don't work unless you go through her hair one strand at a time and pick every egg out. My daughter has butt length hair and she's had headlice once. It was a bit** to get it all out but it was worth all the time I spent. Go through ever peice of hair and tie off sections when you get tired! I used butter until I was done picking them all out and when I was taking a break i'd wrap her hair in a towel and smother the bastards! Those sprays do work, but don't let the stuffed animals back in the house until a year is up and tie them up in a plastic bag and then in another in an opposite direction. Good luck, I know it's hard but it will only take you a few days to get through it. PS those combs don't work worth a shi*. The reason she hasn't had it sense is because she washes her hair once a week in anti-dandruff shampoo. Something about the ingredients keeps them off her hair.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

This website has some wonderful advice about Lice and getting them out of your life. http://nolice.blogspot.com/

Happy to help!

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

tea tree oil n the hair or oil leave in your hair over night and then wash it out wash bedding and ever thing use lice spray that you can get at a store all over your house and the hair brush put them in hot hot water.

put the tea tree oil in your shampoo bottle with your shampoo

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

Sorry to hear about the lice. Plastic encasement on all of the linnens and washing them daily along with shampoo. When I was young before all of the comerical treatments I remember having my hair washed out in gasoline. I don't recomend that, I do recomend taking your daughter to the doctor. They have prescription medications to get rid of the problem on her head, and they can recomend other treatments that will fix the problem in the house.

When my oldest came home from camp with lice I used the over the counter shampoo and encased everything in her room and the rest of the house in plastic and used a bomb to kill everything in the house. For the next 3 weeks I washed all of the linnens and clothes every day for the whole family.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

Tea Tree Oil. You can get it at health food places. What you do is, add a couple of drops to the shampoo before you put it in your hair. Then you lather your hair up, let it sit for a few min. and rinse. It's all natural, and the Tee Tree Oil kills the lice and dissolves the eggs. You don't even have to comb them out. I've had to use this one before. It really does work. When I use this method, I do it for a week or two to prevent re-infestation.

How do you get rid of head lice once and for all?

You already know how to get rid of them, how to stop them from coming back is the big question.

The best thing is to let your daughter keep her hair a little dirty. Lice love clean hair. My daughters only wash their hair on Fridays and Mondays (after Swimming). Hair spray and hair gel are good things to put in your daughters hair. Always confine hair when at school, ie in a pony tail or plaits.

Head lice can not jump. They are a hair to hair transfer, so if there is hair on the pillow or hair on the head rest of the sofa, then re- infection can occur.

Please do not shave your daughters hair off. It's demoralising for her, and will mark her as different at school, setting her up for teasing.

Good luck with this. It's hard, but you can get there.

Frizzy hair.. help!!?

i have long beautiful hair but its always frizzy and rough. i use an anti-frizz shampoo and it works a bit but my hair is STILL frizzy! anyone know what i can do to stop my frizzyness? i feel like i have to brush it every minute!

Frizzy hair.. help!!?

my hair is frizzy too. But keep trying using garnier fructise shampoo. its amazing, if u like to keep ur hair down. If u straighten it to much it will damage ur hair and ur hair will get even more frizzier. I comb my hair after i get out of the shower to get all the knots out, then i add some just a little mousse, not to much to make it stiff, then add defrizzing cream. let it air dry.

Frizzy hair.. help!!?

use a smoothing cream and chi straightener

Frizzy hair.. help!!?

I have the exact same problem! Try buying a high end straightner, that works for my friends. Or you could go to a salon and ask "what treatments could I use and do to help my frizz?" If they sell it at there salon they will jack up the price but it will help :D

Guinea pig lost handfulls of hair after bath? Normal??

I have a curly coated long haired guinea pig whom I brush every other day. (her back is ticklish so i refrain from every day tickling fits lol) Well today she had a bad ( she stunk hard core ) and i brushed her out after she dried, and I have NEVER seen so much guinea hair come off of her!! It was literatly 2 handfulls. She looks fine and her skin is normal, and etc. And i know enough about guinea's to be owning them due to months and months of research and questions. But this one totally baffles me on why she lost so much hair. She doesn't have any balding spots now or anything, but I"m really just curious if this is normal, and if anyone has gone through this. It's kinda worrysome..at least she's clean and non-stinky!!

Also, i've always just used water and light scrubbing to bathe them, but a friend of mine uses baby shampoo. Is that safe and okay to use ? I don't trust myself enough to get all the suds out so thats why I just use water. Anyway, is the hair loss normal ??

Guinea pig lost handfulls of hair after bath? Normal??

It seems to be normal. My guinea pigs shed hair like it's going out of fashion!

As long as there's not bald spots, crustiness, bleeding etc. then your guinea pig is fine.

Don't use baby shampoo. Get a proper antimite/ lice shampoo for guinea pigs from the larger pet stores.

Dry with a towel then a hairdryer set to warm NOT hot and don't put it too near the skin or it will hurt it.

Guinea pigs are such sensitive souls.

Guinea pig lost handfulls of hair after bath? Normal??

Have you been brushing her everyday up till the bath? Because if you haven't it could just be the loose %26amp; dead hair coming out. If she doesn't have any signs of hair loss or stress I don't think you have to worry too much but just look out for any other signs.

Guinea pig lost handfulls of hair after bath? Normal??

Guinea pigs should be bathed every 3 months. And dont use baby shampoo that could be the reason why her hair is falling out because of dry irritation of the skin make the hair fall out use ashampoo for cats for sensitive skin because thats what obviously your guinea pig has but it will be fine its ok dont think your cruel or anything cause i know all of these peeps on yahoo answers make you feel like your a cruel person or something but its alright mother of 3 lol :D

Guinea pig lost handfulls of hair after bath? Normal??

She might have fungus? My teddies (shorter haired) sometimes get it. It looks like a white crust on the base of their coat. Their hair will just come out. And the way you said she was ticklish makes me think she has it too because she would be itchy. You can bathe her in Selsun blue it gets rid of it but make sure she/he doesn't eat any! And rinse it all the way out. She will probably be fine but if you are still worried you could try the vet...

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

ive been wearing my hair up since 3rd grade and now every time i

brush it or let it donwn it gets as puffy as a podles most hair products do not work have any advice or good hair products?

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

well, maybe try this: take a shower and soak your hair (MAKE SURE ITS DOWN!). Use lots and lots of conditioner (i love pantene, it works well). After 10 minutes of soaking your hair, get out of the shower, brush it, wet it some more, and let it sit for a while. Then blow dry it, making sure the dryer is always pointing down. This could help weigh your hair down and make it not-so-poofy.

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

mines the same way! up try this stuff my treseme i think thats how its spelled... its like milky leave in conditioner... it works... you can get it at walgreens

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

ok wash your hair....nd then blow dry it straight (it doesnt have 2 be perfectly str8- just so its not puuffy) it should be good then =]

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

don't wear your hair up so much, it will smooth out over time

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

use thermasilk straight %26amp; smooth leave-in cream

it works really well

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Straighten it.

Straighteners never fail!

Good luck! :)

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

try behead products and straighten ur hair.

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

when you get out of the shower, blow dry your hair but dont put it up. try some moose to. ad if that doesnt work start to let some of your hair out gradually and whear your hair in different styles but dont put it all up. see how that works.

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

My hair is the same way.I straighten it and use Fructis conditioner. If it works on my hair it will help yours!! Luck!~

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

omg i have the same exact problem.its sooooooooooo annoying,

ummmm

i have this rediken stuff, its like astraightening gel and rigth after you wash your hair you put it in your hari but BEFORE YOU COMB IT!!! that is very important

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I have really puffy hair I use the Victoria Secret very sexy styling products. I usually purchase them @ the mall they smell great and work really good.

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

use sunsilk (blue bottle) anti-poof shampoo and i would also suggest straightening yr hair as well.

Hair emergncey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

garneir and sunsilk

Hair in the Morning?

What's up it's yo boy Ian Master 3000. I just wanted to ask ya something. I'm in the process of getting 360 waves. If I finish brushing for 20 minutes and sleep with a durag. Do I Need to do anything to my hair in the morning before school.

Hair in the Morning?

Check out this website. It should help you.

Hair in the Morning?

Ditch the durag. Lame. get your lazy butt up earlier, take a shower, and blow dry. don't be afraid to get some deep conditioner. people will only notice your new bounce and shine rather than your durag hair.

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

http://s196.photobucket.com/albums/aa190...

Sorry, it isn't a very good picture (I might have should have brushed it before I took it, lol)...but, if you have any tips or ideas please share them! Thanks!

Oh, and you can't tell it in the pic, but my hair is very long with some face framing layers....

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

You should dye it, and cut it in layers, but your hair looks fine :)

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

definetly color your hari maybe dark brown with dark reddish chunky highlights. and cut it about shoulder length . it would look stunning.

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

layers and side swept bangs.. dont change the color its gorgeous =]

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

LAYERS, CARMEL HIGHLIGHTS, YOU HAVE GORGEOUS HAIR BY THE WAY

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

you should try a side ponytail with a cute headband... thin would be best... j. crew has some cute ones. so does claire's.

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

get some carmel hightlights, side bangs, layers, cut it maybe a couple inches below the shoulder. it would look really cute.

hoped i helped, good luck!

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

your hair has very nice texture, silky and smooth.

if you want it less boring (not that it is), yeah i would suggest more layers, maybe cut it a little shorter , and deffintly curling it will make it soo cute. yeah definitly more layers around the bottom and around the face

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

you could get layers, highlights, low lights(darker than your hair color), like a few different colors like a blonde, a caramel, like a darker brown, or even a red and get some of them together thats always really pretty, chunky looking highlights, side bangs,a wave or something you seem to have pretty healthy hair and straight too do you straighten but a perm might damage your hair, umm wat else a different part, also in some magazines they have cuts and styles that go well with the shape of your face (seventeen april 2007 edition) thats about all i can think of my moms a beautician so i sorta got some stuff from that and magazines too well good luck i hope you find something that suits youé–³?br>Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

Other than maybe adding some highlights, I really think that you have pretty hair!

Here is a picture of my hair...what are some ways to improve it?

A wedge cut one that is short in the back and longer in the front. Also, maybe some chucky highlights. You have a really nice shine to your hair so don't color your whole head, just highlights.

Whats the best hair spray/gel for wavy/nappy styles?

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

I am a healthy 22 year old female with relatively long hair. When I am taking a shower my hair falls out espeically after I wash and condition. Usually about 5-10 strands at a time. Also when I am brushing it comes out in clumps (not big ones but large in enough I think its abnormal) I've had my thyroid tested and its fine, I don't have any color in my hair I don't know what else it could be. Can someone please help!

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

Have a thorough head massage

How to take care of your hair:

http://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1535....

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

God is probably punishing you for your vanity, quick, repent to receive His mercy and maybe your hair will stop falling out!

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

That happened to my friend and it turned out to be her shampoo and conditioner she was using.

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

If you use Tresemme it could be b/cof that b/c that makes ur hair brake. Have you went to the doctor about cancer? Go to a hair specialiast and they might can tell u something about the hair situation.

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

You may be developing an autoimmune disorder called alopecia areata. Its a disease where your body attacks the hair at the root because for whatever reason it starts to have problems identifying your hair as part of your body rather than a pathogen. If you do a search on it you should get a nice amount of information. Also you may want to take this to your doctor and ask questions or a dermatologist (while its an immune disorder dermatologists handle it because of the hair loss being the main side effect.)

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

Well, long hairs can look like lots of hair. It's normal to lose about 50-100 hairs daily. Some of them stay enveloped in your other hair until you wash, sometimes making it look like you've just lost lots, when in fact it's an accumulation of what you've lost over a day or two. IE: In two days, you could collect a couple hundred hairs. If you look normal, and if your hair does not seem thin or unhealthy, don't worry. Meanwhile, why not add some extra protein to your diet (remember, hair is dead protein). You can get it from protein bars and drinks, nuts and seeds, beans, meat, etc.

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

This happened to me to. I am 30. I have nothing wrong with me other than that. I think its an issue regarding dry hair and not moisturizing with getting older. My mom thinks it may be the type of hairbrush I have used all my life - the plastic ones with big teeth or prongs that catch your hair. I don't know what else to brush with since my hair is thick and gets tangled some.

Good luck

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

are you taking any diet pills? are you eating enough protein?

If a doctor can't figure it out ask a beautician. Or ask a cosmetology teacher at your local jr.college.

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

vitamin pills???? and hold off on the heavy brushing, it might sound like a joke but also you might want to try washing your hair in beer... any kind, something cheap like natural lite or budweiser.

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

It is just just normal ,it also happens to my mom .i think it is cuz of puberty and changing harmones in your body as you actully grow up.i 10 hair fall then onother 10 come to take their place.

My Hair is FALLING OUT!!!?

I have really long hair as well and I'm 24 years old. I went through this myself in the fall. What I did was try not to worry about it and got a good multivitamin, like Centrum. Make sure it has zinc. Also I started eating meat again because I figured a lack of protein may be playing a role in the excessive hair loss. I had been a vegetarian for 11 years.

The shedding slowed down after a few weeks of eating meat and taking the vitamins. Sometimes I wonder if humans go through shedding spells like animals do.

Gonna have to explain more i guess but thanks for the answers about physico ex?

ok here is the deal she is my husbands ex we have been married 1 year they been split 4 they have 1 kid she is a decent mom, problem is she calls husbands work 20 x a night swears there a emergency with kid and nothing is wrong she calls my parents house we have been to court my husband pays his support on time all the time we have paid everything yet she keeps talking us to court over and over she calls my cell all hours waking our child screaming at me i had a restraining order b/c she threatend to punch my in the tummy when i was prego. but the judge droped it last time we were in court with out asking me and the laywer we got was a dumb a@# he didnt do anything except fight the fact that we wouldnt pay her laywers fee, she rushes the kid to hospital all the time for nothing %26amp; he ends up being there 4 hours if i go we argue she called cps on me told them i beat the kid with a hair brush in the face i have tried the kill em with kindness it just doesnt work what to do

Gonna have to explain more i guess but thanks for the answers about physico ex?

Honestly you can only do one thing...bite your tongue. Let your husband do all the kid stuff...or when his kid is with her...he is with her. Dad doesnt have to be involved if not an emergency. YOu are married. she will have to deal with just that.

As I stated in other question....record everything. Document it all. When u go to court you will have a written record, and that helps.

Next, get a better lawyer. You may need to pay a little extra but, get a dick head. A lawyer who will not back down. It will eliminate some of the continuous court appearences.

It seems to me that your husband needs to step up and possibly straighten her out. I went through a similar thing..and when she gets a new man, things will improve...but I cant promise that.

Good luck, if you want to talk just let me know.

Gonna have to explain more i guess but thanks for the answers about physico ex?

did anyone tell you you either have a big spelling problem, or first few lines makes no sense

Gonna have to explain more i guess but thanks for the answers about physico ex?

Basically your hubby needs to court for his rights as a dad and not trying to sound mean but back off b/c she is using you as a scape goat. I understand you may love the kid and you two probably have a good relationship and mom may feel intimidated by that, your hubby does have rights as a father and he needs to exercise, if she leaves messages hold them when she takes the kid to the hospital and the Dr. says the kid is fine hold the discharge papers and take her azz to court and tell hubby to get custody of the child on the grounds that the mothers emotionally distraught and how she's stalking him as well as harressing you hold everything she does make a paper trail to prove your aligations and you'll rid yourself of her. Once she sees you guys mean business she'll straighten her act up or lose her child.

Gonna have to explain more i guess but thanks for the answers about physico ex?

it sounds like she needs to get a new man in her life. she may hate you if you two were cheating behind her back, were you? If not, then she loves her ex and will use anything possible to spend time with him, even if its at the hospital.

Gonna have to explain more i guess but thanks for the answers about physico ex?

First of all maybe he is talking to her behind your back. Second of all, I didn't read anything other than she is the only one at fault. Something just doesn't add up.

Help with my hair??

Ok I have naturally wavy hair with a few curls (it's to my underarms). I let it air dry and try not to use products in it but when it's all dry it ends up kinda frizzy and it just looks dry and dead. If I brush it, it gets all poofy and looks worse! What should I be doing with it to make it look more shiny and pretty waves! I have gel, some herbal essences shine/frizz cream, and vo5 or vo8 (I can't remember which lol) shine/frizz spray, I'm just not sure how to use these to work on my hair. What should I use on my hair and how!? Thanks!!

Help with my hair??

The frizz in naturally wavy or curly hair is not the same as the frizz that is a result of dry and/or damaged hair. Although your hair may LOOK dry, but since you're not in the habit using tons of products, I highly doubt you have damaged your hair from overstyling. Therefore, the egg-in-hair method doesn't necessarily work, as it's more of a moisturizing strategy for dry hair. And unfortunately, the brushing does make it poufier and even more frizzy. I have similar hair texture as yours. Since I live in harsh winter climate, I use Pantene or Nexxus shampoo/conditioner to remedy the dry hair. But during other seasons, I use other not-so-heavily-moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioners. For other not-as-drying seasons, I use an anti-frizz spray product right after each washing and comb through with a wide-toothed comb to evenly distribute it. Then I let it air dry, as blowdrying tends to make it more frizzy as well as potentially increase the risk of hair damage and make it less shiny When the outcome is not as shiny, then you would need to use a shine-spray, which tends to flatten your hair, as poufy, wavy hair needs more sprays to achieve the same degree of shine in straight hair. Using additional products than anti-frizz weighs down the hair too much, making it too flat.

Help with my hair??

may sound crazy but add an egg 3 times a week 2 1 cup of shampoo and wash n cold water so the egg wont cook!!!! and when u dont use egg still use hot water first then after both conditioner and shampoo n use cold hot opens hair folicles and cold ceals them.

Help with my hair??

put moose on after you towel-dry your hair, it really helps, but after you put moose on, remember to brush it cause if you don't, and you do it after, it's gonna frizzzz up like heck.

Help with my hair??

You need to go to here: http://www.jessicurl.com/Demo-Videos-p-6...

I think you need to "plop" your hair. They will show you how in the videos!

Help with my hair??

Use a good cream rince. Try Aussie, It is very rich and helps tame frizzed and dried hair. do not use a brush with bristles. Always use a large comb for long hair . A detangler comb is good. when your hair is wet use a COMB instead of any brush.

Different hair styles?

My hair is curly/wavy and gets frizzy after a shower and sometimes just whenever it feels like it. Its also very short.

Almost too short to put into a ponytail, and does not brush my shoulders.

Its been hard trying to come up with different styles for it. I've tried scrunching and using certain gel to bring out the curls. And I've tried straightening. But 3 different hair styles isnt that much. are there any kinds of styles you suggest for wavy/poofy/thick/short hair???

Different hair styles?

Another Hair Problem......?

try some kids detangeler, deep conditoner and a straightening balm, follow the direcetions on them and you should be good then, and make sure you buy shampoo for tangels, msg me if you have anymore questions

Another Hair Problem......?

You should try using conditioner!

Whats the best way to spray my hair back?

I have straight, long (mid back), blonde hair. My part naturally falls down the middle. I love the way it looks brushed back so you can't see the part. I also have layers. When I use hair spray to comb it back, it eventually falls back to the middle and, b/c of the hairspray, looks funny. Are there any ways to use hairspray without my hair falling back in a weird position?

Whats the best way to spray my hair back?

You can always use bobby pins to pin it back. I would recommend training your hair to go back otherwise it is going to fall into the middle part, you can do this by continuously placing your hair back, at night I would sleep with something pinning that section of your hair back so that your hair will become trained.

Whats the best way to spray my hair back?

you should tease your hair before you spray it, it will last a little longer

Keep my hair straight after showers and after straightening?

my hair flips out at the ends (it bugs me sooo much) after i take a shower i brush it and it stays straight for a bit... and when i starighten it the ends flip out after a while.. what products would you recommend?

And... what product would be good for keeping my hair curly but soft (not like using hairspray, the curls are hard)

Thanks :)

Keep my hair straight after showers and after straightening?

Blow dry it straight with a big roll brush. This will keep your hair from flipping out at the ends.

Keep my hair straight after showers and after straightening?

TIGI's bed head label. Their line of "Control Freak" products keep hair from curling out, and they eliminate frizz.

You can buy it in salons, or local drugstores.

Keep my hair straight after showers and after straightening?

I use thermasilk products because they use the heat to actually style. I use straight and smooth leave in conditioner and a smoother. Then I blow dry and style and it usually stays for a couple of days if I need it to. But, if your hair isn't trained to style this way it should take a couple of weeks to train your hair. Do this by keeping up the same routine with your hair after each wash. Product and then style but, you should blow dry and not air dry because this could cause the flip.

Keep my hair straight after showers and after straightening?

brush your hair when you blow dry it that's what i do because i had the same problem but now my hair is perfect .

hope this helped

Keep my hair straight after showers and after straightening?

All that I can say is that you will look so much better if you let your hair do what it naturally wants to do. Don't straighten it anymore. I stopped doing it and my hair looks a lot better now.

I have dark brown hair and i was thinking about dying it blonde-I just feel as though browns a bit dull and common. Not to mention the fact i feel plain ugly. Also, its very thick and frizzy, so instead of brushing it over to the side I have brushed it right back so i have no line. Could that look a bit unfashionable for a 18 year old?

Do you find dark brown hair boring?

Dont dye it blonde!! your natural hair color works best, i have a frend who had brown hair and she dyed it blonde. She didnt like it and she dyed it to brown but darker than her natural hair color. If you want to dye your hair, dye it chocolate brown. Straighten your hair and dont curl it

Do you find dark brown hair boring?

its not for everyone. on some it look great on other not so much. its not that its boring.

Do you find dark brown hair boring?

nice

Do you find dark brown hair boring?

Obviously it just doesn't look good on you, but for me, I just look great with long dark hair.....

Do you find dark brown hair boring?

Dark brown hair is not boring, but if you are bored with your hair,

then go and dye it. If you want to try blonde, go to a pro to dye it

for you.

Do you find dark brown hair boring?

dark hair is hard to pull off...if you look bad with dark hair its probably your other features....most girls look better in blonde hair its more forgiving...

What is a good store to purchase male/female hair accessories at?

I would like to know a good place to purchase hair accessories, ya know, like do-rags, wave enforcer brushes, wig caps and etc. I do not want to go to sally beauty supply and I am looking for a place that is specifically in the beauty supply industry, not some place like Wal-Mart that sells everything under the sun. Also, I'd prefer it to be a chain not just a mom and pop kind of place. Any good names that you know of? Thanks in advance for your help!

What is a good store to purchase male/female hair accessories at?

Take the 20 minute trip to your local mall and browse the shops like Claire's, Spencers, Hot Topic, etc. You can usually find more fun stuff at the mall rather than the dinky Wal*Mart nearby

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily

DYSON ANIMAL

I have 4 dogs......2 rottwielers, a (heavy shedding) siberian husky, and a pommeranian.

I have gone through 10 vaccums, until my vets assistant recommended the DYSON ANIMAL, it was expensive but worth EVERY penny, I have had this vaccum forever and never had a problem, nor needed service or repair. It has paid itself over multiple times!

Do it right the first time......get a DYSON ANIMAL, and you will never have to worry, and a plus is that you do not need to buy bags, and it has a lifetime warranty on filter and motor!

Worth every penny without a doubt!

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

We have a Dyson Animal which works well.

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

Labs do shed quite a bit in general, but look at the source of the problem--make sure you're feeding your dog a quality food as this combined with regular brushing, bathing, and grooming, will minimize shedding. As far as vacuums I've heard that Dysons are very good and I believe Bissell has a model out now specifically marketed for pet hair.

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

Dyson or Hoover.

I have several dogs and I have a hoover windtunnel with bags and I like it. I vacuum every day several times a day.

Although many people with pets love dyson and swear by them.

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

I know people with house-fulls of shedding dogs, who swear by the Dyson vacuum cleaners. They're expensive but worth the price, or so I hear.

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

dyson

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

We have a Dyson. It is unbelievable.

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

For short-haired dogs, any good vacuum from Eureka, Hoover or Kenmore will do it that has a HEPA filter. I prefer bagged to bagless models -less messy. It doesn't need to be an expensive vac. I also use a Roomba for in-between cleanings. I got a deal on one on Woot.com.

For my long-haired goldens, it's a little more challenging because the hair tends to wrap around the rollers. But I love them, so that's the price I pay.

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

The PURPLE DYSON rules......it really is worth the 500+ dollars it costs..............it is amazing!!!

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

dyson dyson dyson. I love mine so much that when I had the money I bought another because I wanted to have one upstairs and downstairs. I used to have to replace my vacuum twice a year because it would stop picking up, not so with the dyson it gets it allllllll

What's the best vacuum cleaner for dog hair? I have a Yellow Lab that sheds a lot despite daily brushing....

Use a shop vac, on the dog. It works, just be careful. It will suck up alot of the loose hair, my dog loves it.

Do i need a new hair dryer?

when i blow dry my hair at home it stays straight and perfectly styled for about 2 hrs, but when i have it done at the salon, it stays perfect all day. what's the deal? i use the same products (styling foam %26amp; hair spray). i have the exact same brush (i bought it from the salon). the only thing i can think of that's different is the dryer. do i need a new one?

Do i need a new hair dryer?

Maybe its the technique. Or maybe you could buy the same one your salon uses.

Do i need a new hair dryer?

That may be part of it, but it could also be your technique, or the angle. When they blow it out they can do it from above, you probably have to go at kind of an angle. That's all I can think of.

Do i need a new hair dryer?

No, its you. No one can do it like the stylists.

Do i need a new hair dryer?

if you usethe some shampoo, and everything as the salon,, it wount mack a diffrents at qall. WHen you need a new hair dryer, is when steam is blowin out of it./ ya hear?

Do i need a new hair dryer?

Ancient stlylist recipe. Just go to the salon everday for a blowdry.

Do i need a new hair dryer?

you need a new hair dryer

What types of products or procedures can i use to make my hair healthier?

i have blonde hair, about down to my mid back. i dont dye it often. i used to straighten it alot, but hardly ever anymore, but its still really dry and i still have alot of split ends. i brush it twice a day and use deep conditioning shampoo %26amp; conditioner. what else can i do???

What types of products or procedures can i use to make my hair healthier?

i would get it trimed like every 6 weeks or cut and wash and condition it every time you take a shower take about 1 day a week to "deep condition it" you can accomplish this by putting in a conditioner ment for dry hair and leave it in for about a half hour! then when it needs an extra boost spray some leave in conditioner and some spray to make it look shiner it makes it look and feel healthier!

What types of products or procedures can i use to make my hair healthier?

First off get your hair trimmed just a smidge every 2 months will help keep it healtier. Blondes tend to split hairs more than everyone else. When styling your hair use curling iron's or flat irons with ceramic plates not metal. You can also take prenatel vitamins that you get at the vitamin store they are perfectly healty for non pregnant women. Plus it will do your whole body good.

What types of products or procedures can i use to make my hair healthier?

one of the best cure for dull ugle greasy hair that is unmanagable..is pure scunk oil that can be purshased in south peru...pure mustard is what the movie stars use and or eggs yokes... after applying scunk oil do not i repeat get near hunting dogs....

What types of products or procedures can i use to make my hair healthier?

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

My 13 year old daughter has long blonde hair to her knees and she hasn't had a haircut seince she was 7 and she needs short hair bad! Sje doesn't want to but she hogs the bathroom for 45 minutes brushing it every day. How do I conivnce her to cut it short?(Like a bob or something)

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

Yeah, it can be annoying that she hogs the bathroom, but I guess the best way would just be to set up something in her own room, where she can take care of her hair in there. You really shouldn't try to convince her to cut it. She has something to be proud of %26amp; I'm sure she's getting a lot of compliments on it too. The big thing is that it helps boost her self esteem %26amp; helps her develop to be a confident women. By forcing/trying to convince her to cut it, will just get her to resent you.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

You could forced your daughter to cut her very very short that i did to my daughter who went from very long hair to very short hair Report It

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

Maybe go for a less drastic cut? Long with layers (ie past shoulders) would be way easier to manage than knee length and may also be fun for her (read: COMPROMISE) Try playing around on www.hairmixer.com so she can imagine what she may look like with the hair cut.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

Surely it must get in the way. You dont need to convince her to cut it you need to convince her that IF she cuts it, it will be beneficial to her. Explain that she will get to sleep in a bit longer because she wont need to spend so much time brushing it, and maybe tell her she can get highlights or colour her hair if she cuts it.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

HOLY S H I T!!!!!!! Down to her knees? Damn!!! I dont blame her for not wanting to get a bob! I mean think about her, shes had super long hair for a very long time and you are asking her to go into a bob????? Thats a VERY DRAMATIC change!!!!! Ask her to cut it, but keep it long. Like find a really cute layered long hairstyle and show her pictures!

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

long hair generally is in bad condition (split ends)..its also out of fashion to an extent... maybe see if she would be interested in just getting the minimum cut off to donate to locks for love or a similar organization..... and that she would also be able to spend less time on her hair and more time on other things....... she doesn't need like a bob right away make it a gradual process.... and you can do things to shorter hair that you wouldn't want to spend all that time doing with long hair....... not sure how long your hair is and start styling it in ways she could be able to if her hair was a bit shorter and maybe offer to teach her these things if she gets it cut....

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

Tell her it is easier to take care of.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

show her with your hands how short her hair will look and how good she will look. First of all, WHY DID YOU LET YOUR DAUGHTER GROW HER HAIR TO HER KNEES? Put her hair in pony tails and then put most of her hair behind her back.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

Long hair is really rare. If she really likes it why make her cut it. Maybe a trim would help a little. Maybe set up an area in her room so she doesn't hog the bathroom.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

you asked this question yesterday.

and even though you changed the format to sound less disturbing, it still creeps me out that you're obsessed about hacking off your daughter's hair. it's HER'S, not yours. if you cut if off, she'll hate you. end of story.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

If she's happy with her hair I think you should leave her alone. She's taking care of it. I had very long hair at her age and it was part of my self esteem. Eventually she'll tire of it and decide she wants to change her look.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

If your daughter hasn't had a haircut in 6 six years you could tell her that she needs a trim. If you take her to a professional they would be able to see all the split ends and the damage it's causing to her hair. They should let her look in the mirror to confirm the bad condition her hair is in and, cut all the dead ends off. They also need to explain to her that part of having healthy LONG hair is trimming it every 4 to 10 weeks.

If she agrees to a trim call a head and explain the situation to a professional. If its been that long she will probably need quite a bit off.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

Have your daughter go along with your husband to the barber shop. When it is his turn to get in the chair, have her go in his place. Just tell the barber to give her a buzzcut and he will know what to do (don't forget to bring the tissues). It will be over before she knows what happened and the problem is solved. Once she gets used to having really short hair, I am sure she will like it. Getting her back in the chair the second time shouldn't be as difficult.

How can I convince my daughter to cut her hair short?

Tell her she can sell her hair for some cash at: http://hairbuyer.com
