what type of styling tools and products should i use for sleek and shinny hair that doesnt get knotty?

...i have thin wavy blonde hair?

(when i get out of the shower my hair has loose curls and when i brush it, it becomes straighter but still has waves in it)

(i do straighten it, however it tends to get kinky and wavey after awhile)

i have straightened my hair since i was in 8th grade and now im a junior in highschool.

the best product i have used on my hair was Straightline, but i dont know if they carry the product anymore.

Chi is a very good product line, they sell shampoos, conditioners, straight guards, etc.

As for the product, im not sure what you would prefer.

A spray or a gel type?

Chi has both, but i personally like Sleek Look. Its made by Matrix. it works really good and smells awsome.

The problem might be your iron. the only ones i have ever used are Hot Tools. They work really well. They have settings 1 through 10 to ensure you wont burn your hair.

If you have thick hair, set it closer to 10; if you have thin hair, closer to one.

um just straighten it. duh. there is a straightning thing from japan that keeps your hair straight forever! my friend just did it and she looks great!

I would use nothing but a ceramic straightener. Chi is a really good brand; expensive, but so worth it!

A Chi ceramic straightner works excellent, however it costs alot.

To get shiny hair try using leave-in conditioner.
