How do you get rid of the static in your hair? xx?

I have tried everything dryer towels, anti frizz serum and even a GHD anti static brush. None of them work!! It is driving me crazy!!! Every morning when i go into school my hair sticks to my face with the static. My friends have to help me stop it. It can sometimes take up to 45 mins to get it to stop. So if any one knows anything that may help other than the things i have mentioned. Please let me know thanks xx

Use a drop or two of any oil-based hair product like VO5. Rub it into your hands then run your hands over your hair. You can do the same with your conditioner.

The hand lotion works if that's all you have. I've used it lots of times.

If you have some detangler spray, use that.

If you blow-dry your hair, use the coolest setting and don't dry it completely.

After shampooing and conditioning your hair, turn the hot water down and give your hair a cool rinse.

Those are my tips.

rub some lotion through your hands and then lightly run it through your hair...sounds weird, but I swear by it!

Don't wash and brush your hair so often.

It is a little expensive, but Redken Outshine works really great for me. You might also want to use an anti frizz shampoo and conditioner.

Also be careful about what you wear. Sweaters are bad to make static worse. Don't put those in the dryer.

Redken's Outshine and Glass both work very well, but kind of expensive. Try using the dryer sheets again for laundry and rub it on your hair. No lie, it will work! And smell good. It worked for me. Trust me, try and you shall see! Have fun. -S
