okay i am going to add black highlights to my hair but have no foil and no highlighting brush what do I do.

I wouldnt do it. Unless your a professional, it prolly wont turn out to good. You could use a comb and comb it thur thin sections, but the color will bleed thru and look odd on the underneath hair. If you are going to do it, take cotton, and take a section of hair, coat with color, and place the cotton under that section so it doesnt lay on the other hair. It oculd work great, just be careful.
