I have a 5 month old. I am having issues with my hair falling out. It seems that when I wash my hair I have a lot of hair fall out. It's not a handfull or anything, but it would easily cover the palm of my hand. (I have shoulder length hair btw) It does this with shampooing, conditioning, brushing and anytime that I mess with my hair. Does anyone know if this is normal or if this is something I should look in to. (I am not brestfeeding anymore - not since he was 6 weeks)

you may want to look into it. you could be low on iron or might be developing a thyroid problem.

HOWEVER, I found out recently it's because I had undiagnosed anaemia during pregnancy that didn't go after birth.

You should get checked out by the doctor just incase. It might also be stress, hormone levels still not fully adjusted back to normal, lack of a certain vitamin or a number of things. Good luck :)

:-O you too?! I was hoping that it wasn't just me! I think it's just hormones. Keep taking your vitamins and then you'll know that it's not because you aren't lacking a certain vitamin.

Mine started falling out when my son was 3.5 months.. now he's almost 5 months and it is still falling out.. it is EVERYWHERE and I can't stand it.. I have to vaccuum everyday.
