Am I doing something wrong when I comb my hair?

Everytime I comb my hair, it flips out on the ends like Mrs. Brady or like, you know, the typical, 1950's flip.

(Here's a pic of Mrs. Brady's hair if you are having a hard time visualizing it: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/photopost/d...

I hate it. I use sponge rollers and curl my hair around them either under or I curl it sideways so its' kind of like a ringlet.

Yet, when I fingercomb or use a regular comb/brush on them, the ends automatically flip out. It looks dumb. Please help

okie dokie, first of all the flip is from the 60s

anyhow, a little bit of straightening on your ends should solve your problem.

or use a round brush to curl your ends under while you blow dry.

just brush down straight (i have the same problem)

Just when you comb your hair have your comb facing the floor and keep the comb like that when you brush

Down

Down and out

Down and out

and then if that don't work straighten it!!!!!!!

Try a round brush..

Comb from the underside flipping it under as you blow it dry...

Try combing it under or using a straightener.

Have you tried wetting your hair and using a round brush to curl it under? Not wet but damp. It could also be your hair cut. If you have a lot of layers then you don't have enough weight at the bottom of your hair, you should get an undercut next time if you want it to turn under. It will help it go under automatically.

just comb it out and then straighten the ends, thats what I have to do sometimes.
