How can I straighten and defrizz my hair without using an iron?

My hair is not too hard to straighten but I always use an iron because my hair is so frizzy. Only now my ends are so dry and split and are starting to break. I have tried to straighten and smooth my hair with a blow dryer only but the results are not as good. Is there a special brush, products you recommend to do this without an iron.

I have longer hair with some curl, not too thick. I will be getting trim to cut off all damaged ends. I want to try to keep my hair healthy as possible from now on.

first off, when you wash your hair try not to use really hot water.

use a mild temp. hot water makes your hair kinda poofy and frizzy sometimes.

Thats the first thing u can do is cut off those ends! Then use a pomade of a defrizz serum. But you still probably have to use a iron first no matter what. A bore bristle brush is the best for straightening. If you have a sally's around they have them there.
