Calling all hair gurus?

Ok:

So I'm going to cut off my hair for Locks Of Love, and I need to start thinking of hairstyles.

First off, I should tell you that I have extremely thick hair- and lots of it. Enough to make two wigs.

I have sideswept bangs, and my hair is naturally red.

I wanted a cute short hairdo that will be pretty low maintenance, and scene or glam rock. However, I don't want it to be completely out there, so I can brush it into a chic style when needed. Ideas? Pictures?
