We have 2 pugs and as you may know they shed a lot! They sleep with us at night and now our blankets are covered in pug hair. I really can't wash the blankets every day but would like to "brush" or something similar daily and at least get some of the hair off. Any suggestions?

Try a lint roller. There's specific pet hair roller things in most pet supplies stores. Or even on ebay.
Maybe, when you make your bed in the morning, take your sheets %26amp; shake them out outside to get rid of all loose hair.
If you brush your pugs daily, they should shed a little less. Also, a healthy %26amp; balanced diet %26amp; lifestyle can minimize shedding to some extent too.

I have shedding pets also. I have tried various things, but what I have ended up with is using a lint roller---the kind with masking tape on it. They sell them at pet stores and lots of other places, and you buy refills of the tape. It is also helpful to brush the dogs once a day with a dog brush.

Do they stay in one area? At some pet stores you can purchase these soft cloth like stickers fairly large in size. They move just like your blanket without the noise. When they get icky throw away. Or buy a roll of contact paper at the dollar store... cut off a piece stick to blanket and Wa La all the hairs stick to it and throw away.

Walgreen's has carried and may still carry a large rubber roller that removes lint and pethair very easily from my black clothing. They make a smaller version for the purse as well, which folds up. You just wash it off in warm water, let it dry and use it again and again. No tape to replace or sticky backed stuff and it is very reasonable...like $5.oo or so depending on where you live. You may even find them in the grocery store section with household untility items. So pack up all your hairs and woes....

I recently had the same problem because my puppy loves to sleep on my bed, but I went out and bought a comforter that is within a removeable cover. I simply let her sleep on TOP of the blanket, use lint rollers every morning, and then wash the cover once each week. The hair hasn't been much of a problem since.
