I accidentally got some aloe in my hair and now, five washings later, it still won't come out!

I've tried washing it, brushing it, and everything else. It is just is almost like i put tons of mousse and hairspray and **** in it--stays where i brush it, etc. The rest of my hair is fine but just where i ran my fingers through at the top. Please help!

Hah, I feel really bad for you.

Here are some really good tips that I used when I got tree sap in my hair. (Blahh!)

Use some vinegar, or a type of oil.

Any type will do, (Olive, Vegetable, ANYTHING)

then apply it to your hair. (about 2 tablespoons)

Rub throughly, and wash.

If it still doesn't come out, try again.

(I know, it's a hassle. But at the end it's worth it!)

Good luck, and try not to get it in your hair again!

Try white vinegar. It usually works to clean up any goop. Then wash your hair. It can't hurt you. Good luck!

-try dish detergent. it will cut the grease or you may have to strip that piece of your hair

Run the icky part of your hair under the faucet using the HOTTEST water you can tolerate. No shampoo. Rinse until you have a cramp in your neck and that should be long enough to have gotten it all out. Good luck!

Dawn, you know the stuff you use to wash your dishes, use dawn. Take a shower and put the dawn in your hair and wash it, you might want to use a comb too to make sure it gets in there good. After that use your shampoo gently and conditioner liberally to get your hair back to normal.

Curious as to how that happened! :) But you can add a teaspoon of baking soda to your shampoo next time you wash and it will get it out. It will strip your hair of any build up!

Hope this helps!

Try using a little Vinegar on the spot where it is..... Rinse well afterwards!

Vinegar is a natural grease cutter! great in the kitchen too!

Ok..here is an old hairdresser tip..(i am a licensed hairdresser)..go get some ****-n-span from the store just get a tiny box..it has to be the powder form and delute it with water and apply to the greasy portion..it will not discolor your hair..it will only clarify and rid any residue that is unwanted in your hair..if that scares you just go get a bottle of clarifying shampoo and it should work too..if you get a build up on your hair from products and conditioners you should clarify your hair at least once a week anyway..good luck..

Dawn dish detergent will take it out. Make sure to use conditioner after.

you can use a anti residue shampoo but these are rather expensive but neutrogena has a good one, but the less expensive way is to use either baking powder or vinegar, but the problem with vinegar is that it smells a lot after you use it. so i guess it would be better to mix a teaspoon of baking powder with your regular shampoo(if you like you can add more) and then run it through wet hair then use a wide tooth comb to spread it all over. after that you can wash it off, hope it works out. best of luck

Use Dawn Dishwashing Liquid. That is what hair dressers used to remove excessive grease from their clients hair, then really condition your hair afterwards.
