i have fine,limp,sometimes oily hair...

does anyone know of a mousse or spray in volumizer that will not leave residue or white build up if you brush over it?

I have exactly the same hair. I use Matrix Volume mousse and root lifter. Works Great.

I use Bed Head products as they really infuse the hair with nourishing vitamins and proteins. The conditioner I use of that line is called "Dumb Blond" (even though I am not one). I let it sit on my hair as a mask for about 20 minutes to an hour with slow heat over it in a heating until.

Rinse thoroughly and then comb a fine light everyday conditioner that protects from daylight, UV rays and general environmental abuses.

My hair is soft and healthy. See if that helps.

As for having thin limp hair, use minimal conditional if you can as it DOES weight it down and makes it greasy. Just a tiny tough (1/2 of a dime size) would be good worked to your palm well and then over your hair carefully, then combing it through.

Towel scrunch off the rest (never rub your hair dry, it causes damages to the hair follicles).

If you turn your hair upside down to dry on LOW heat you can heat and dry the hair at the roots to allow "volumization".

Yes actually I do! There are a couple of hairsprays that are WONDERFUL! One is called BIG SEXY HAIR, and the other one is called VAVOOM! These can both be picked up in your nearest salon for about $13-$15.00. They do not leave hair build up and leave your hair full of body and movement! Good luck!
