1)The Hundred Years War was a conflict between France and England, lasting 116 years from 1337 to 1453.



2)Despite the name, genuine Panama hats are made in Ecuador, not Panama; their name comes from the fact that they came to prominence during the construction of the Panama Canal when thousands of the hats were imported from Ecuador for use by the construction workers

I can tell you that the hundred years war did not last 100 years (somewhat less than that), and black boxes aren't actually black - they're red, or orange, or something, so that they're easily visible.
