I'm a true blonde, just not as blonde as I's like. I havent bleached my hair in over 3 years. I recently got it bleached about 3 months ago. This is the first time I've had a problem not being able to brush it when it's wet and trying to air dry..it just breaks off. After I blow dry it, it's so frizzy, dry and damaged, not to mention when it's wet it's so curley (and I have straight hair for the most part). I'm thinking of cutting it so short to get rid of all the dead hair. Can someone suggest any relaxers or something for dry damaged hair...nothing i use seems to work. I just want it silky, smooth and straight again.

Go to a salon and seek help! Your hair has fallen victim to the mighty bleach. They should be able to help you so that you don't have to cut all your hair off. You will not be able to use a relaxer on you hair or it will certainly fall out. You need some good quality products for your hair. Try the Redken Extreme line, they have protein fortifiers in them to strengthen your hair.

I had this problem too. I went to a salon (in an act of desperation, I NEVER go to those places), and they ended up cutting it all off. Not even the BEST repairing serums and creams will help it, now, sorry.

Try a trim before whacking it all off!! Also, make sure you're using a GOOD QUALITY conditioner! Not just anything! If you live somewhere cold, use a little leave-in conditioner or protective serum (like Joico K-pak) to keep it as healthy as possible. Good luck!

well do not bleach it! I get my hair highlighted (i'm a blonde) and it gives it a 3 demensional good look... if you go full on 1 colour then it will look dull and wierd and if u get a fuull head of highlights you will get the ligther colour you want....and do not attempt yourself get it done professionaly at a salon because you can killl your hair or get the colour to come out yellow..pros know what they are doing.
