Pet Hair :(?
They could be groomed (cut--even shaved), or frequently combed to minimize.
Pet Hair :(?
try a product called the furminator. you can find it online. Its special brush/comb that pulls out all the under coat from you pets. Thats what they are shedding out.
Pet Hair :(?
Have you tried the anti-shed shampoos? Do that along with brushing and see if it lessens the amount of loose hairs.
No one wants to restrict their pets from going in certain areas of the house, so I am guessing this shampoo is something to try.
Good luck.

You don't say what kind of pets but obviously cats and dogs. If you could spend some extra money on a professional groomer, it will help immencely. They have a treatment called "Furminator" or just shedless treatment. It could be somewhat expensive but it can cut shedding 60-80% for up to 6 weeks. Call a groomer for prices.

frequent brushing helps control pet shedding. start with a bathe to loosen any hairs still stuck in the coat. Most animals have an undercoat too... thats what the is shed in the spring. Animals who spend time indoors shed more because the shed "cycle" is triggered by light and temperature. I'm not telling you to put your pets outside, but just that indoor animals are always losing hair. vacuum everyday, try that pet release carpet spray it works good. they also have rubber "brooms" that when you sweep your carpet picks up gobs of hair! Keep lint rollers near by or in your car so you can brush off any hair you carry out with you. and limit the places your pets can go.. (for some reason my long haired cat loves to lounge in my closet it I leave the door open... UGHHHH!) Good Luck

brusing them might help and an occasional bath.. and instead of letting them lay on ur bed u should buy them a crate or restrict them from ur room.. if its a cat good luck they pick a spot and thats there spot for ever..
