I died my hair black a few weeks ago and i hated it . I know its superficial but i cant bare to even look in the mirror that i brush my teeth in the dark. Now i made the situation worse by trying to get back to my dirty blonde color by getting it professionally done and now i look like a bleached out blonde bimbo. What I am going for is a pretty champagne blonde. Everyone is suggesting low lights but i dont like the look of light hair with dark streaks, i dont like the streaked look at all! HELP HELP HELP!

I suggest going to a more high-end salon and speaking to a hair stylist. "Champagne blond" may mean a certain color to you, but a different color to someone, and you don't want that someone coloring your hair. So, find pictures that show examples of the exact shade of blond that you'd like, and be sure to show them to your stylist. I also reccomend that, because your hair is probably damaged by color, getting a deep conditioning treatment at the salon and using conditioner and shampoo for dry, damaged hair. After the treatment, get a glaze, this will lock in the hair color and make your hair shiny and damage less noticeable. If the split ends bother you, after getting the glaze, I suggest asking for a small trim to cut of split ends.
But remember, the most important thing is to talk to your stylist and make sure that she understands what you would like. Also, a lot of magazines and people tell you that if you're going from dark hair to blond, to get it done professionally, but the truth is that ANY drastic change (from black to blond or blond to black especially) should be handled by a professional. And another thing to remember is, be nice to your hair stylist and don't piss her or him :D That probably won't be good for your hair.
So, hope I helped, :D Good luck!

You could go to a salon and get the black color removed. Or you could just wait until it grows out, which might be better because you could really be damaging your hair to this point.

well you've already got the black out and that's the huge battle. It's really easy to tone that blonde down now. If this is what you asked for in the beginning I would call up your stylist and tell them that you are not trying to be difficult but you just want something a little more subtle. All they really have to do it put a toner on it and make it a softer more subdued blonde, it will take like 20 mins if that, and just tell them you'll leave with a wet head...any good stylist will understand and be willing to take that little extra with you to get what you wanted.
