she has a big looking bird nest on head and everytime i start to brush it she screams i need some help to get it out of her hair with out her screaming

Wet it and cover it in conditioner. Then let it sit for a minute. I would also start using you fingers to gently break up the tangle, then a wide toothed comb.
That should be a lot easier to comb out.

go get the spray in conditioner and just spray the hell outta of it before you brush it..also tell her when she washes her hair to use heavy conditioner..

ok that first answer is totally correct but i will add this.. start combing at the bottom and work your way up.. it is a lot easier for those nots to come out if they are sliding down already detangled hair.. vs pushing them into more nots... so start that the bottom..
