She fusses with her hair for two hours a day and that's not including washing it. I spend a total of half an hour washing and brushing it, and people ask me how I get such awesome curly hair and they never believe me when I say it's natural curl. How can I convince her not to spend so long tying up the bathroom just for her hair?

Once she says 2 hours, have him be like "that's crazy, I've never understood why girls spend so much time on their hair. I bet your hair is beautiful the way it is supposed to be" or something like that. I'm a 14 year old girl and never straighten my hair. I think it's crazy too!

you can try to convinve her all you want but she won't change her routine until she feels like it. it's really no use trying to convince her because she has to feel like cutting back on the time, herself. maybe it makes her feel better?? in the future, she may change her hairstyle to something less high maintanance. you'll have to sit back and see. pressuring her isn't the right thing. she'll do it when she's ready.

If it is tying up the bathroom, tell her to wash her hair and then style it in her bedroom. That's what I do. :) Although we have way more than one bathroom so its not a problem. But its too steamy in the bathroom after a shower to do my hair.
