Biracial hair products?

Hi. I have a sixteen month old biracial son(i'm black/my wife is white). Most of the websites i've looked at seem to only refer to biracial girls and not boys. My question is, is there a difference in products used to maintain boys/girls hair and i'd like some suggestions regarding how to maintain my son's hair. It tends to curl up when wet but dried out it becomes frizzy. Is it good to comb/brush it everyday?

Biracial hair products?

I have a bi-racial daughter and have gone through many hair products, finding one I like and then it gets discontinued. If your son has fine curly hair, you need to use the products intended for caucasians.

There are many curling products out there that eliminate frizz. We tend to find the best results with the ones that are labeled as "non-sticky". You don't want them walking around all day with a crunchy head.

Currently, we are having excellent results with Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Curl defining lotion. We apply every morning after we wet the hair with water from a spray bottle. Work through with fingers. Let the hair air dry and never use a hair dryer. It will only make it frizz.

Only brush when wet. Brushing it when it is dry makes it frizzier.

Try the Blended Beauty products. You can order them at Blendedbeauty.com or through other stores on-line. Their made for mixed hair types. I have the styling lotion and I love it!

Check it out! Report It

I would call up a Beauty Supply store and ask these questions. When I was in hairdressing school way back when, they had products for black peoples' hair, and products for the textures of white peoples' hair. I'm sorry, but I never learned of any products for biracial persons' hair, or one for girls and one for boys. Talk to a professional, I think that's the best idea.
